Limited ("Dareit", "we", "us", or
"our") operates the Dareit mobile applications (iOS and Android) and
the web portal at Dareit.co (together, the "Products"). This Privacy
Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the
choices and rights you have. It applies to all users of the Products
("User", "you", or "your").
By creating an
account or using the Products, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree, please do not use the Products.
1. ELIGIBILITY / AGE
The Products are intended for users who are at least 13 years old (or the
minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children below this age. If you believe a
child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@dareit.com
and we will delete it.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We only collect information needed to operate the Products.
a. Information you provide
i. Account details: username, name, email address, and
password.
ii. Content you create: posts, photos, videos, documents,
comments, and messages you choose to share on the Products.
iii. Support communications: information you send us when
you contact support or report content.
b. Camera, microphone and photo library
With your permission, we access your camera, microphone, and photo library only
so you can capture or select photos and videos to create posts. You can manage
these permissions any time in your device settings.
c. Information collected automatically
i. Usage data: features you use, content you view or
interact with, and actions you take in the Products.
ii. Device and log data: device model, operating system,
app version, and a device or installation identifier used to keep you signed in
and to secure your account.
iii. Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data to
help us fix problems.
iv. We do not collect your precise or background location,
and we do not access your contacts or address book.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
a. create and manage your account and sign you in;
b. provide the core features of the Products, such as
posting content, dares/challenges, comments, and messaging;
c. maintain safety, integrity and security, including
detecting spam, abuse, and violations of our Terms;
d. respond to your support requests and send you
important service and administrative messages;
- analyze and improve the Products and develop new features; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app or
cross-site tracking for advertising.
We share information only as follows:
a. Service providers: trusted vendors who process data on
our behalf to run the Products (for example, cloud hosting, authentication,
analytics, and crash reporting). These providers may process data only under
our instructions.
b. Other users: content you choose to make public (such
as posts, your username, and profile details) is visible to other users of the
Products.
c. Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process,
or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Dareit,
our users, or the public.
d. Business transfers: if Dareit is involved in a merger,
acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that
transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Products use the following third-party services, which have their own
privacy policies:
a. Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging,
Analytics, Crashlytics) - Google LLC.
b. Google Sign-In - Google LLC.
c. Sign in with Apple - Apple Inc.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.
6. DATA RETENTION
We keep your personal information only as long as your account is active or as
needed to provide the Products, comply with our legal obligations, resolve
disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we
delete or anonymize it.
7. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
You can delete your account at any time from within the app: go to Settings and
select "Delete Account". Deleting your account removes your profile
and associated personal information from active systems, except for limited
data we are required to keep for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
You may also request deletion by emailing support@dareit.com from your
registered email address.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update,
or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing,
and withdraw consent. You can update most information from your Profile page in
the app, or contact us at support@dareit.com to exercise these rights. We will
respond in accordance with applicable law.
9. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your
information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no
method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We are based in India and may process and store your information in India and
other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take
steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and
applicable law.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material
changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where
appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Products after an
update means you accept the revised policy.
